Traffic and development on the corridor
The North Bay Transportation Management
Association will hold a one-day conference to look for solutions to the affordable
housing and traffic problems in Sonoma and Marin.
“The debate on transportation problems goes
on in Marin and in Sonoma among the planners, businessmen, elected officials,
employees, environmentalists and government agencies,” said Dwayne Hunn, executive
director of the North Bay Transportation Management Association.
“Now is the time to end the debate and begin
to work together to make the decisions necessary to find and implement viable
solutions.”
This panel will bring together planning and
transportation experts with decision-making officials to begin a discussion of
regional solutions to the traffic and transportation problems facing the North
Bay today.
Members of the community will get the chance
to ask questions and make comments to the panelists as well as their elected
representatives.
