Politics ought to be the part-time profession of every citizen who would protect the rights and privileges of free people and who would preserve what is good and fruitful in our national heritage.

Congressional staffers visited  during August 26th - September 1st 2007 visit to seek sponsor, cosponsors and supporters in Congress for People's Lobby's citizen-initiated AWSC Congressional Proposals.  One page summary hand-out left with staffers.

Prior to the November 2006 election ALL the findable candidates for the House and Senate in 38 states were sent this request to support - No political party has  and asked to support the AWSC congressional proposals.  Lack of time and staff were the only reason we didn't contact all the candidates in a more timely manner.
