RE: Proposed World Service Corps (WSC) Bills/Resolution. WSC via warm, productive, peaceful, civilian draft.  WSC via volunteering and receiving post service educational inducements.

Dear Senator Snowe:

The world and America needs an inspiring image of who America is.  The attached faxed World Service Corps Bills give the world the refreshed image that America and the world needs.

Imagine, if soon America announced that 5,000 World Service Corps members were being trained to go to Kurdistan and southern Iraq?  Imagine, if instead of 39 Peace Corps volunteers serving the 420+ million that inhabit the 12 nations running east from Egypt to Pakistan, we were preparing to send tens of thousands?

Instead of Madrasas and radicals spewing seeds of hatred about Americans that to often take root, global villagers would know hard working, caring Americans peacefully exhibiting their can-do, do-good character.

The cost efficient WSC would peacefully benefit the world, as well as America.  America’s understanding of world economics and politics would soar exponentially, and the bloody cost of sending our soldiers to die would fall proportionally.

In short the WSC proposals would institute a warm, productive, peaceful, civilian one-year of drafted service for all Americans during ages 18-22 in their choice of Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Habitat for Humanity, HeadStart, Doctors Sans Borders, and the Red Cross.  If any Americans choose to volunteer for 2-3 years, our federal government would pay two to four years of college (or vocational school) costs.

In order to be heard in Congress, I need respected, far-sighted Republicans to co-sponsor this legislation.   I implore you to seriously consider these proposals and the information on them building at my web site.

As a respected member of the Finance Committee with experience on committees and sub-committee such as the Budget, Foreign Affairs, Intelligence, and Armed Services, you know how to build coalitions.  You could lead in pulling this historic legislation together.

Your staff can link to updated World Service Corps information by clicking to the opening link at www.dwaynehunn.biz.

Similar requests have thus far been made to those CCed below.

I look forward to your reply.  Thanks for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Dwayne Hunn
