People’s Lobby’s citizen-initiated American World Service Corps (AWSC)
Congressional Proposals?
Would a million Americans volunteering to such organizations as Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Habitat for Humanity, Head Start, Doctors Without Borders, Red Cross, etc., each year for the next 20 years reduce terrorist recruitment, poverty, wars? Do our PTSD vets need Veterans Villages established for them through the McCaffrey Veterans Foundation? Does our military want or need a draft?
