Habitat
builds simple, solid homes.
If you want the young to carry less
anger into the world and build democracy, have more of them do homework
in homes that make them smile.
Rwandan orphans exposed to ignorance,
hatred and genocide could use more Peace Corps volunteers
and the education that follows them. More
schools and orphanges can help erase the ignorance that breeds genocide. It
doesn't take a genius to read the happiness that comes with small steps
up in life. |

such as teaching children to read, making neighborhoods safer,
responding to natural disasters, building affordable homes, and
recruiting, managing, and training several hundred thousand community
volunteers.
