Ted Smith

Ted Smith grew up on a farm in Michigan, studied Engineering and Economics at Notre Dame and Iowa Sate University,  an officer in the US Navy during WWII,  owned and operated four restaurants in Chicago, 1955-1978, including two Landmark Town & Country Restaurants which together served over a million customers per year.   For 10 years was chairman,   Government Affairs Committee for the Chicago and Illinois Restaurant Association and Board member of the Illinois Employers Association. Served on the Illinois Committee For The Status of Women.

Ted moved to Marin County, California, in 1997.  Secretary, Director: The American Institute of Wine and Food, NorCal. Co-Chair: SIRS, Area 6, Investors Group.  Member: World's Presidents Organization.
