Fund educating Air America Radio?  

 

Are you interested in doing a cruise and in helping People’s Lobby do the world a world of good too?

Air America Radio, who has had me do some segments regarding People’s Lobby citizen-initiated American World Service Corps (AWSC) Congressional Proposals, is doing a cruise with several of their talk show hosts, Paul Krugman, some authors, etc., from February 23 – March 1st.  http://www.airamericacruise.com/index.html

I have not had enough time to become a successful grant writer or fund raiser for People’s Lobby Inc. (501c4) or People’s Lobby Education Foundation (501c3, tax deductible donations).  Therefore, I am mailing some of you, who are interested in the issues of the day and may want to enjoy, learn, and discuss the same on a cruise, this request:

 

In a timely manner, would you underwrite some or all of the $2,000 cost to send People’s Lobby on this Air America cruise, where I can educate these news and opinion makers on the need to implement quickly the AWSC?

I am not sure how long the cheap rooms ($1,741.) will be available, so a “yes, no, or maybe…” would be helpful as we figure out how to fund educating Air America’s educators.  People’s Lobby’s American World Service Corps will:

·       Help restore America's credibility.

·       Involve one million Americans annually in peaceful, productive national and international service. 

·       Insure future public policy decisions will be more solidly based on practical worldwide experiences from which Americans glean cost-effective knowledge and less bloody answers to earthly problems.

·       More effectively deal with future man-made and natural disasters at home or abroad.
